Binge Eating Disorder Treatment
Treatment for the Whole You
Are you sick of obsessing over food and weight? Are you tired of feeling shame, guilt, or a sense of failure about what you eat or don’t eat, and the number on the scale? Do you feel like your life revolves around food-what you eat, when you eat, or not wanting to eat?
Are you tired of trying to hide from friends, family, or co-workers during mealtime so you don’t have to answer questions about why you aren’t eating, or why you are eating what you are? Are you tired of using food as a coping mechanism whenever you are stressed?
Are you exhausted from trying the same thing over and over again, with the same disappointing results? Instead of trying harder, are you ready to try something different?
This is where I can help you.
If you or someone you love is searching for help for binge eating disorder, it may feel confusing to determine where to start. Given the complexities of binge eating disorder, it is important to seek out a therapist who specializes in this treatment.
Specialists in binge eating disorder treatment, such as licensed therapists and psychologists, will have experience in dealing with the issues that lie behind binge eating disorders. Professionals who specialize in eating disorders will also have education specific to this field that gives them advanced knowledge and understanding over general therapists and counselors.
I am committed to helping those experiencing food and body concerns as well as eating disorders. My approach is based on the belief that we are all fundamentally good, unique, and that we each intuitively seek meaning, value, and creativity in life. My goal is to help you establish a compassionate and trusting relationship with food and your body, and support you in your journey towards health, wellness, and value-centered living.
You can have a healthy relationship with your body and learn to trust and listen to yourself again. I can help you get there.
“Listen. Are you breathing just a little and calling it a life?”

My Approach to Binge Eating Disorder Treatment
Effective treatment requires an awareness of the genetic, biological, psychological, social, and cultural impacts on each person.
Simply put, I believe that treatment with the whole you in mind can help you get better.
I believe in a collaborative approach model when treating Binge Eating Disorders. What this means is that while I can work with your mental health, you should also be working with a doctor who can monitor your physical health, a dietician who can ensure that your nutrition needs are being met, and a psychiatrist if medication is a part of your treatment plan.
A collaborative approach is very common with an eating disorder diagnosis, and has been proven to be the most successful method of fighting and recovering from an eating disorder.
We will all work together to ensure the whole you is being assessed.
